Simple Chocolate Ice Cream Cake Recipe

Here I show you how I prepare with great dedication my recipe for a simple chocolate iced cake that pleases everyone. Check the ingredients and step by step and make them at home too!

Ingredients for making simple chocolate ice cream cake:

For the cake batter:

 4 cups of wheat flour (560 grams)

 1 cup brown sugar

 1 cup of refined sugar

 1 cup of milk (240 milliliters)

 1½ cups of powdered chocolate

 5 eggs

 1 tablespoon of margarine

 1 tablespoon of baking powder

 1 teaspoon of salt

For the filling and topping:

 2 cans of condensed milk

 1 can of sour cream

 150 grams of chocolate for icing

 1 cup of strong coffee

 ½ tablespoon of margarine

How to Make Simple Chocolate Ice Cream Cake:

First turn the oven on 180 degrees. Then separate the whites from the yolks and beat the whites for 5 minutes until the point of snow and set aside.

Then beat the sugars with the yolks and the margarine until it forms a smooth cream. This is important to get a fluffy iced cake.

Then add the flour, salt, powdered chocolate and milk, beating until it forms a homogeneous mass.

The next step of this simple chocolate iced cake is, in light movements, to mix the egg whites into the dough. Finally add the yeast.

Grease and sprinkle a rectangular baking pan, place the dough on it and place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for approximately 45 minutes.

While baking the cake, heat the condensed milk with the margarine and chocolate for icing. Stir until brigadeiro spoon and set aside. Make a strong coffee and blend in a blender with the cream.

After 45 minutes, check if the dough of your simple chocolate iced cake is already baked. To do this, perform the toothpick test: if, when piercing the cake, the toothpick comes out clean, it means it's ready! Let it cool a little before unmolding.

After cooling a little, unmold and break the cake in half as shown in the image.

Tip: I used dental floss to break the cake, but you can use string or string.

Drizzle the cake with the coffee mixture and cream, so that it is moist and very tasty.

Pour a part of the sweet brigadeiro into the half that you drizzled with the coffee creamer.

Place the other half on top of the cake, drizzle and spread the rest of the brigadeiro, covering well.

Cut the cake into squares, wrap with aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.

Tip: Prepare this cake at the end of the day and refrigerate overnight. That way it will be ready the next morning!
